Important Announcement

I have recently been informed by Carnival Corporation and Royal Caribbean International, that both of them, and all of their affiliated companies, will cease paying commission to travel agents on October 15, 2007 for the air component of cruise reservations made with them.

As a result of the unfortunate and shortsighted decision, from whom no input was solicited or allowed, we have no choice, but to implement a service fee to cover the costs involved in handling the air arrangements for our clients’ travel needs when these cruise lines are involved.

As I hope you are aware, setting up the air schedule is a time consuming part of our service to you, frequently involving multiple calls and conversations to arrange what we hope will be an acceptable air schedule, with as few intermediate stops as possible. Once the schedule is finalized, we then contact the airline and try to comply with your seating preferences, and your individual service needs depending on health and mobility.

As you know, in all of our dealings with our customers, we strive to offer the best possible service, at the most reasonable cost.

We sincerely hope that you will understand the need to charge this service fee and will appreciate the fact that we are keeping this charge as reasonable as possible:
$50 per person for domestic air arrangements
$75 per person for international air arrangements

At this time, these fees will only be applied when the following cruise lines are being used:
Carnival Cruise Lines, Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, The Yachts of Seabourn,
Cunard line, Costa Cruises, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Celebrity Cruises,
Celebrity Xpeditions, and Azamara Cruises.
