Around the World with Jay and Mary Pat

 Here it February 21, and we are in beautiful Bali

The Serenity really decorated the ship beautifully for Valentines days and threw a great party enjoyed by all with treats and big band dancing

After Sydney, we visited Melbourne and on February 12 arrived in Adelaide where we went to the seashore before going to a fancy department where they had a delicious food court where we heartily sampled all of the wonderful desserts along with some tasty Australian wines

On our final day in Sydney, we took a seaplane to a fancy restaurant, Cottage Point Inn, on the Hawksberry River and had a delicious luncheon

We arrived in Sydney Australia on February 7 and were there for two wonderful days.  On the morning of day #1, more than 200 of the full world cruisers headed for the apple store to learn more about mastering the use of their new ipads.  We were among them.  That evening, we attended the Sydney Opera House performance of "the Magic Flute" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

 A typical day on a world cruise means getting together with friends.

 These friends are all people that we know from our years on the Regent World cruises....all are wonderful people with whom we love sharing these fantastic voyages.

And then there are special people like Bruce & Gloria McGill, celebrity presenters on the Crystal Serenity, who we have known even longer, and who we always enjoy being with whenever and wherever possible.

Mary Pat's special day with a pre-dinner cocktail party in our suite followed by a wonderful dinner topped off with a delicious birthday cake.  The cruise continues to be exciting with more gifts coming almost every day.  Since the first three special gifts we discussed earlier, we have recently received a commemorative world cruise magnet/pin yesterday and embroidered golf shirts  tonight.  It just keeps on coming.  We are looking forward to our anniversary next week.
